Statement on Avian Flu
The poultry meat used for HiPP baby and toddler food comes
from healthy livestock from poultry breeding farms within Germany.
The chickens and turkeys are under continuous veterinary care.
The processing steps undertaken to produce HiPP recipes means
that jars and containers are preserved by heat treatment. Exposure
to such high temperatures sterilises the contents, thus ruling
out any danger of infection.
HiPP products therefore meet the highest hygiene standards
possible in order to rule out any risk. The safety of HiPP
recipes containing poultry meat is completely guaranteed for
the reasons mentioned above.
