HiPP Statement on E Sakazakii
Unlike bottled sterilised milk, milk powder is not sterile
and can contain low levels of germs. Our milk powder is subject
to strict microbiological control in the course of which it
is also checked for contamination with E. sakazakii.
Additionally, it is important to follow the directions carefully
when preparing the infant formula in order to meet the necessary
hygiene regulations: Each meal must be freshly prepared and
the prepared food must be fed to the baby immediately. Do not
keep any leftovers for your baby's next meal.
If the preparation directions for powdered milk foods are
carefully observed, there is no danger for babies.
These hygiene instructions are part of the instructions that
are found on every package.
