New
HiPP Organic ‘First Tastes’ -
Tiny
jars for tiny tots
May 2005

HiPP Organic has launched a new range of tiny
80g jars called ‘First Tastes’, perfect for babies
at the first stages of weaning. The range consists of four
varieties, made of only the smoothest blends of fruits or vegetables,
making them ideal first weaning foods.
The process of weaning onto solids can be a gradual process,
with just one or two teaspoons being offered initially before,
during or after baby’s usual milk feed.
HiPP’s First Taste jars provide the perfect solution
for smaller appetites to avoid too much wastage and at just
39p each they represent excellent value for money.
“Mum’s have told us that they prefer using very
simple fruit and vegetable combinations when they initially
start giving their little one solid food” comments Samantha
Mort, HiPP’s Communications Manager. “Once baby’s
appetite grows, then there’s a natural progression onto
our main Stage One varieties which offer a more diverse range
of tastes. As with all our recipes, ‘First Tastes’ are
made with only organic ingredients, which is vital as tiny
bodies are more vulnerable to impurities”
All four HiPP ‘First Tastes’ are gluten free and
are perfect for breakfast, dinner or tea. The range includes ‘Apple
puree’,’ Apple & Banana’, ‘Pumpkin & Rice’ and ‘Carrots & Sweet
corn’.
