Marathon challenge for HiPP Nutritionist

HiPP is proud to be sponsoring our nutritionist Helen Gardiner in this years' London Marathon on 18th April.

Helen will be running for her chosen charity Children with Leukaemia the leading UK Charity dedicated exclusively to the research and treatment of childhood leukaemia. Helen's fund raising efforts will help the Charity raise money to fund vital work to ensure that children have the best chance of survival against the biggest child-killer disease in the UK.

"With modern-day diagnosis and treatment, about 70% of children diagnosed will survive leukaemia in childhood" says Helen. "However, over 100 children each year will die of the disease. The goal of the charity is to get to the point where leukaemia can be prevented, or can always be successfully treated."

Helen works for HiPP as a consultant nutritionist, offering information and advice to Mums about all aspects of infant feeding and nutrition.

"We are delighted to be able to support such a worthwhile cause. Helen has been training hard for many months for this challenge." says Jane Mayall, Marketing Manager at HiPP. "We wish her the very best of luck".
