The serious bits!

To keep our forum a friendly place, we have a small list of house rules:

  • Always be yourself, please do not impersonate another person, whether a friend, family member, celebrity, moderator, HiPP Baby Club employee or other forum user
  • Always show fellow members respect and courtesy and be mindful that mums and dads of all ages and backgrounds are welcome to use our forum
  • Please avoid bad language, aggressive posts and personal attacks
  • No commercial postings are allowed although we welcome personal product recommendations and experiences from our members
  • Please refrain from referring to health professionals by name as any such posts could be libellous.
  • Please do not share or link to any unlawful content such as pornography, pirated software and/or computer games or other counterfeit goods
  • We want to keep our members safe so please do not give instructions for illegal or otherwise harmful activities
  • Please do not spam the forum or post chain letters, money making or pyramid schemes
  • Keep your personal information safe and do not transmit or knowingly receive information relating to personal data concerning other users of the Baby Club forums

If you post messages in our forum, we will assume you agree to the above house rules!

Our promise to you

We will try to be as helpful as possible and may join in conversations from time to time when we feel our advice or experience will be beneficial.

If you have any questions about the forum, website, HiPP Organic or would like advice from one of our experts, please contact Claire our moderator who will be happy to help.

We will always investigate any reports of members breaking the house rules and will take any action we see as appropriate. We reserve the right to remove any content from the forum at our sole discretion and without having to justify our actions, though we will always try to be transparent and explain any decisions.

We welcome everyone’s opinions but do not endorse any personal or professional opinions expressed by users of forums, apart from those of our own moderators or experts.

Occasionally, third parties may share information in our forums but we do not accept any liability in respect of the accuracy or truthfulness of any advice, information or data posted by these individuals, groups or organisations.

When members misbehave...

We really don’t like doing this, but inappropriate posts may be deleted without notice at the sole discretion of the HiPP Baby Club team and in extreme circumstance we may also ban members.

Safety advice

Personal information

Please don't be afraid of building a profile as it lets other members know who's "behind the post".

We recommend that you don't give out the address or phone numbers of your home, work or school. Forums are public so if you do disclose personal information, it could be collected and used by third parties to send you unsolicited materials.

If you do want give out your email address to another member please do this via a Private Message (PM). Don't open emails from people you don't know. In particular, do not open emails with attachments from people you don't know, as these could potentially be carrying viruses or other harmful programs.

If we spot an email address, phone number or address posted on any of the boards, we may delete it or send you a private message about it.

Meeting people

Please be careful about meeting any other forum user. When you are online, it is very easy for people to pretend to be someone they're not. If you do decide to meet another forums user in person, please follow these guidelines:

Under 18s:
• Always ask your parent(s) or guardian(s) first
• Ask your parent(s) to go with you
• Always meet in a public place of your choice

Over 18s:
• Get a friend to accompany you
• Always tell someone you trust about where, when, and who you are meeting
• Always meet in a public place of your choice
