The contents of each jar go through a stringent quality control programme from soil testing through analysis of raw materials to checking finished product. Any anomaly results in rejection of the entire batch.

Laboratory Checks. Although only selected ingredients are processed, a series of quality checks are also carried out at each stage of the process to ensure that each and every jar of organic baby food is of the highest quality possible

  • One of the best laboratories in Europe. HiPP's superbly-equipped laboratory is a world leader in residue analysis. We can filter out approximately 1200 forms of residue to amounts as minute as the equivalent of a single grain of salt in a 50 metre swimming pool.
  • Craftsmen and Technology. HiPP production teams work with the most modern manufacturing methods. And overseeing this technology, human specialists add the personal touch. For example, HiPP workers remove any dark rice grains individually from the conveyor belt using special mini suction machines.
  • On-going production checks. Samples from the production line are taken at regular intervals for checks on consistency, vitamin content, appearance, aroma and taste.
  • Triple testing. A unique logistics system ensures that we can reproduce the content of each jar from the start of production right through to the finished product. So that we know at any point of time the exact content of any individual HiPP jar.

Safety First

Safety is of prime importance to Hipp and to you. That is why we use only newly manufactured glass jars which are checked by the manufacturer and then again before they are filled by Hipp

Organic Vegetables with Rice and Chicken

  • Jar Quality. Safety is of prime importance to HiPP and to you. That is why we use only newly manufactured glass jars which are checked by the manufacturer and then again before they are filled by HiPP.
  • Vacuum Sealed. Vacuum filling guarantees that the jar is sealed and the contents are still sterile. All jars receive a final vacuum seal check before dispatch
  • Proof of Origin. After filling and sealing, each lid is given a batch number. This means that any individual jar can be checked back through the entire process to identify the field, meadow, orchard or animal of origin, including day of harvesting, preparation and packing. HiPP offers total accountability on every single product that you buy.
  • And two final checks by you. You can be sure that your HiPP product is still in perfect condition:
  1. If the centre of the lid cannot be pressed in
  2. If the lid clicks when you open it
  • For your information. Each jar has a best before date and individual production and batch number.
