A brighter world for our children
Here at HiPP, our passion for organic food and our belief in sustainability go hand-in-hand with looking after the environment. We’re continually looking for ways to reduce our carbon footprint:
- We’re one of the largest users of organic raw ingredients worldwide – protecting huge areas of the earth from being sprayed with harmful pesticides and fertilisers
- All our jars are produced with 100% recycled energy
- We’ve reduced our CO2 emissions by around 95% in the last 5 years
- We use renewable energy and ‘green’ electricity, such as solar power, in our production
- By upgrading insulation in our company buildings we’ve saved enough energy in one year alone to heat 30 family homes over the same period of time
- In just a year, we have reduced our water consumption by almost 10%
- We recycle more than 96% of our waste - organic waste such as fruit, vegetables and cereals can be used in animal feed, as renewable energy or as organic compost
