Wholewheat spaghetti in tomato sauce

Ingredients
- 30g wholewheat spaghetti shapes
- ¼ can chopped tomatoes (or 3 fresh tomatoes, skinned & chopped)
- A drizzle of olive oil
- ¼ small onion, finely chopped
- 15g grated cheddar cheese
- Selection of vegetable sticks, e.g. pepper, cucumber, partly cooked carrots
How to make it
Cook the spaghetti according to the instructions on the packet. Heat the oil in a small pan ad gently cook the onions until clear, then add the tomatoes and continue to heat through for about 5 minutes. Stir in the grated cheese and then add the drained, cooked pasta. Stir the pasta and sauce together. Serve the pasta in a bowl, and serve the vegetable sticks separately.
Portion sizes will vary according to your baby’s age and appetite so adjust the amounts used accordingly.
