Dipping Sauces with HiPP Organic's Little Mealmaker sauces

Here at HiPP Organic our dipping sauces are a great way to hand-eye coordination. Our recipes have been specially created to add extra texture & nutrition to a vegetable based snack. The perfect way to help build independence whilst feeding themselves and lots of opportunity to introduce lots of new foods. These recipes are suitable for babies aged 7 months and onwards.

Beany Dip

Ingredients

- 2 tbsp of butter beans or kidney beans (Drained)

- Dippers of your choice

- HiPP Organic Tomato and Vegetable sauce

Method

 1. Mash your drained canned butter beans or kidney beans in a bowl.

2. Stir in some HiPP Organic Tomato and Vegetable sauce to make a creamy texture.

3. Cut up some vegetable sticks or pitta bread into fingers  and dip into the 'homous' dip.

Dipping Sauce

Ingredients

- HiPP Organic Little Mealmakers sauce

- Dippers of your choice

Note: This recipe would suit any of the HiPP Little Mealmakers sauces and you can warm the sauce through first if you think your baby may prefer this - follow the instructions on the jar.

 

 

 

Method

1. Spoon half of the contents of the sauce jar into a bowl - a small plastic bowl would be perfect.

2. Chop up some pitta bread into fingers or some veg sticks ( e.g. cucumber, red pepper, broccoli or cauliflower florets, roasted veg, lightly boiled carrot sticks). Alternatively you could get some mini breadsticks or mini rice cakes.

3. Dip the dippers into the Little Mealmaker sauce of choice.

4. Store any remaining sauce in the jar in the refrigerator and use within 24 hours.
