Quesadillas

Intro text to the recipe. Our quesadilla recipe provides your little one with a veg-packed meal. Whilst encouraging self-feeding it allows you to provide your child with at least three of their 5-a-day. This recipe is suitable from 9 to 12 months.

Ingredients

- Vegetables of your choice

- Handful of baby spinach leaves

- Tortilla wrap

- Sprinkle of grated cheese

-  HiPP Organic Chicken puree

Method

1. On a chopping board, chop up some vegetables such as ¼ avocado and a tomato.  Wash a few baby spinach leaves and dry them on some paper kitchen towel.

2. Heat a small frying pan over a low to medium heat and lightly toast one side of a tortilla wrap. After a few minutes, flip the wrap over and spread with some HiPP Organic Chicken puree.  Top the wrap with the chopped veggies and spinach, and sprinkle on a little grated cheese.

3. Add warm through and then fold wrap up in half and then half again.

4. Put on a plate and cut into slices or cubes that your toddler can feed themselves. Check the temperature of the food before giving to your child.

5. Any leftover sauce can be put on the side of the plate for your baby to dip the quesadilla into.
