FAQs
All of our HiPP Baby Care and Kids Care products have had their skin tolerance dermatologically approved and have been specially developed for sensitive baby skin and contain no alcohol microplastics or mineral oil.
Our products should be safe to use on eczema-prone skin; however, we would recommend testing on a small area of the baby’s skin first, as skin tolerance is individual.
Yes. We use organic almond oil and organic almond oil extract in our HiPP Baby Care and Kids Care range.
Many families want their babies to smell nice. However, the raw materials in skincare products – especially oils – have a characteristic, often unpleasant, smell of their own. That is why we have decided to add a pleasantly discreet perfume to most HiPP skincare products. Consumer tests have shown that this subtle fragrance is desirable and scented products are preferred.
None of our Baby Care or Kids Care products are organic. The term ‘organic’ describes only the origin of the raw materials, but does not imply an extra high level of skin tolerance or suitability for sensitive skin.
All of our HiPP Baby Care products are suitable for your little one from newborn, they’ve had their skin tolerance dermatologically approved and have been specially developed for sensitive baby skin and contain no alcohol microplastics or mineral oil.
All of the HiPP Baby Care and Kids Care products are vegan.
We don't use pure palm (kernel) oil in our HiPP Baby Care and Kids Care products. We do, however, use derivatives of these within our products; they have been tried and tested in skincare products and are very well tolerated.
In accordance with our brand philosophy, we only use sustainably produced organic palm oil across our product ranges.
We are particularly careful with the selection of ingredients we use in our products; we only add something if it’s gentle on baby’s skin
We don't use parabens in any of our products, as parabens (a group of preservatives) can, in individual cases, trigger allergic reactions in sensitive people.
Both SLS and SLES are detergents and frothers, used to clean and froth up when used. They’re both linked with skin irritation, so we do not use them in any of our products.
