Poland

Poland lies in the east of Central Europe and is comprised mostly of lowlands. In the heartlands there are many lakes from the last Ice Age. In the south there are also hills and mountains. Climatically speaking, Poland is a transitional zone: in Central Europe there is a lake climate, in Eastern Europe a continental climate. Due to its geographical situation, the temperature differences between summer and winter increase from the west to the east, while precipitation decreases. The climate and the location make Poland an excellent location for growing HiPP Organic strawberries, HiPP Organic potatoes and HiPP Organic pumpkins. Aside from the agricultural areas, in Poland there are also over 600 conservation areas and 15 national parks. Here, numerous animal species such as roe deer, wild boar and red deer can live in their natural environment.
