Thailand lies in the south-east of Asia. While it is interspersed with many mountain ranges and rivers, the centre as well as the west of the country are dominated by fertile alluvial plains. Thanks to the river flooding during rainy season, the soils are ideal for agricultural use. Furthermore, the moist air that monsoons bring to the country and the constant warm temperatures create ideal farming conditions – e.g. for HiPP’s organic rice.
