About the origin

The fish for our HiPP jars are mainly caught on the high seas, far from the coasts. Our fishing grounds lie in the North East Atlantic und North East Pacific. There, the animals live in their natural habitat. The only interference comes from fishing activities, which are, however, strictly controlled in accordance with the guidelines issued by the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC). HiPP thereby promotes the kind of fishery that contributes to the preservation of the ecological balance in our oceans.
