Did you know?

That wheat contains gluten?

Some cereals such as wheat naturally contain gluten. Most people have no reaction to gluten. Some, however, can’t tolerate it and suffer from a gluten intolerance (coeliac disease). After eating foods that contain gluten, they often get a stomach ache and diarrhoea. If your child suffers from coeliac disease, don’t feed them cereals such as wheat, rye, oat, barley or spelt and green spelt. Prepare a porridge with maybe some rice, millet, maize or tapioca instead of wheat semolina and as to our HiPP baby food jars, look for those that only contain gluten-free ingredients such as potatoes and rice.

Help in everyday life: The law requires that the gluten content is indicated on all products for infants 6 months old and under.
