About Me

Lucy has a BSc honours degree from King’s College London with additional postgraduate learning through the British Dietetic Association in common paediatric disorders as well as children with feeding difficulties in both the Sequential Oral Sensory Approach to Feeding (The SOS Approach) and Emotionally Aware Feeding Responsive Feeding Approach. She has been working as a registered dietitian for 12 years both within the NHS and the private sector.

Introducing solids is where Lucy first started her training in paediatrics; after the birth of her daughter and realising that even as a dietitian she knew nothing about how she should go about it. Not wanting anyone else to feel as confused and worried as she did, Lucy now takes joy in helping parents to understand the weaning process and has helped many thousands of families to enjoy a confident stress free start to solid food for their little ones . Lucy is on a mission to eliminate outdated generational feeding myths to help parents to work with, not against, the individualism of their child. By creating connections that prioritise both nurture and nutrition, parents and children can enjoy healthier relationships with each other, and their food.

As a neurodivergent single parent to 2 young children Lucy understands the need for nutritional advice to be easy to follow, judgement free and a good fit for parents and their babies. Lucy has been featured in the media for publications such as the BBC, Asda Good Living and Nursery world. She has spoken at conferences such as The Baby Show and regularly trains a range of professionals in areas such as fussy eating and weaning.

I'm here to support all parents and little one's by navigating the weaning journey. From 'How to start weaning' to 'Moving your toddler onto family meals', I'm here to help every step of the way!
