Please follow preparation and feeding instructions carefully; failure to do so may make your baby ill.

  1. Wash your hands well. Before use, check that the bottle is not leaking, the protective foil is undamaged, the best-before date, and that the cap and seal are intact. Do not use the teat if there are any signs of damage or weakness.
  2. Shake the bottle well. Heat to drinking temperature (37°C) by standing the bottle in warm water. Shake the bottle again.
  3. Do not heat feeds in a microwave – hot spots may occur, which could cause scalding.
  4. Remove the lid and foil seal. Attach a single-use, ready-to-use teat. Check the temperature of milk before feeding. Feed immediately.
  5. Discard unfinished milk in the bottle at the end of the feed.
  6. Bottles and latex-free teats are for single use only, please dispose of them after use.
  7. If decanting part of the contents into a sterilised bottle, remaining contents can be stored in a fridge for up to 24 hours.

Note: It is normal for some sediment to be found at the bottom of the bottle before shaking.

  • Store dry at room temperature (out of direct sunlight).
  • Do not freeze.
  • Product of Germany.

This table is a guide only; your baby should be fed on demand, particularly in the first few weeks, and may need more or less than the volumes stated. If you need more advice, please contact your healthcare professional.

Important feeding information

  • Never leave your baby alone whilst feeding.
  • Introduce a cup or beaker as soon as possible to prevent prolonged/frequent contact of teeth with milk feeds, as this may increase the risk of tooth decay.

Important teat information

  • The teats have small perforation and a size 1 feed hole (suitable for babies 0-6 months).
  • Please see individual teat for expiry date and other information.
  • Never use feeding teats as a soother.
  • Keep components not in use out of the reach of children.
  • Never attach to cords, ribbons, laces or loose parts of clothing due to risk of strangulation.

Our starter packs are designed for maximum ease of use. Start by giving the bottle a good shake. If you wish to warm the milk, please heat it to drinking temperature (37°C) by standing the bottle in warm water. Shake the bottle again.

Take off the lid and the foil and unwrap the ready-to-use teat; holding the teat ring, screw directly onto the bottle.

Test the temperature of the milk by shaking a few drops onto the inside of your wrist before feeding. Feed immediately.

There are 6 x 90ml bottles within the Starter Pack, enough for six feeds if you are feeding directly from the bottle. If you are not feeding from the Starter Pack bottles themselves, then you can decant the amount you are going to feed the baby and the remaining content in the HiPP bottle can be stored in the fridge for up to 24 hours.

No, these are single-use bottles with a sterilised teat for each bottle, neither of which should be re-used. They should be disposed of after each feed.
