Stage 2 ready to feed milk is designed to provide the nutrients your baby needs alongside a varied weaning diet when they are not being breastfed. It is suitable from the age of 6 months and has been developed to meet the nutritional needs of older infants. It contains higher levels of some nutrients.
Stage 3 growing up milks are designed to complement your toddlers’ diet from the age of 12 months when they are not breastfed. Stage 3 ready to feed milk is fortified with important nutrients, such as vitamins D, calcium and iron.
We know everyone has different experiences and wants to do the very best for their little ones. Growing up milk is a choice that’s right for some families. Some parents choose to transition their little ones onto it if they’re happy on HiPP follow on milk 6m+ and it complements their diets as they grow. Growing up milk is fortified with important nutrients, such as vitamin D, calcium and iron.
Growing up and toddler milk are marketed as an alternative to whole cows’ milk for toddlers and children over 12+ months. Whole cows' milk is also a suitable choice as a main drink for your child from age 1.
Stage 3 can be used from the age of 12+ months to complement a toddler’s diet.
Once a ready to feed bottle has been opened, it should be fed to the baby straight away or within 2 hours of opening if kept at room temperature. Any remaining formula in the HiPP bottle that is not being used for that feed can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 72 hours for growing up milk.
HiPP Growing up Milk ready to feed formula can be given at room temperature or warmed if desired. If warmed, please check the temperature before feeding. Make sure to never heat feeds in the microwave, as hot spots could occur that cause scalding. Always warm by standing the bottle in a bowl of warm water.
