In addition to slow growing chicken breeds, we deliberately chose to rear the Sandy breed. What is so special about it? Both the male and the female chicks of this breed can be raised. While the hens lay lots of organic eggs, the male animals are reared for their meat. This makes both of them valuable for our HiPP baby food.
