About the variety

Technically, plum is an umbrella term for plums, damsons, mirabelles and greengages. They have all different shapes, colours and flavours. Plums and damsons are very close relatives, although the plum tends to be a bit rounder, bigger and lighter than the damson. In our HiPP jars with organic plum puree we use varieties such as Cacaks Frühe, Sanctus Hubertus, Felsina and Hauszwetschge.
