About the origin
Wheat is widespread because it thrives both in the dry areas of the south and south-east as well as in the more humid and colder areas of the north-east. If it is too hot or too cold, however, both yield and quality suffer. Therefore, we grow our organic HiPP wheat in Germany, Italy, Austria, der Slovakia, Hungary, Lithuania and Romania. After being harvested, the wheat is cleaned, dried and stored in its country of origin.
