Hungary

Hungary is a landlocked country in Central Europe and lies largely in the Pannonian basin. Surrounded by mountains, and located in a depression, it is therefore relatively flat. Only about a third of the country is more than 200 metres above sea level. In the south and east there is the Hungarian lowland, which covers more than half of the entire country. The River Danube flows through the country from north to south. To the west of the Danube the landscape is characterised by hills and mountains. In Hungary there is a continental climate, whereby the difference in temperature in summer and winter increases from west to east, while precipitation decreases. So the climate is well suited for growing HiPP Organic pumpkins, HiPP Organic potatoes and HiPP Organic apples.
