About the origin

HiPP Organic potatoes need a temperate climate to grow, ideally without long periods of drought and rain. They grow particularly well in healthy, loose soils that are free of stones. Well-balanced crop rotation is also decisive for HiPP Organic potatoes. Our organic farmers strictly adhere to crop rotation cycles of 5 years, so that the soils and plants remain healthy. In order to ensure sufficient amounts of the best quality produce, we cultivate potatoes in different areas of Germany, Austria, Polen, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary.
